Saigon aims to welcome 8.5 million international visitors in 2025
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion
Center, in 2024, Ho Chi Minh City attracted more than 45 million
domestic and foreign tourists, with a total revenue of more than
190,000 billion VND. Tourism products and events continue to be
upgraded and improved in quality.
Many highly creative tourism products with cultural and
historical values associated with characteristics have received
positive responses from people and tourists. In particular, Ho
Chi Minh City's tourism industry is also honored to receive many
prestigious international awards.
In 2025, Ho Chi Minh City aims to welcome 8.5 million
international visitors, 45 million domestic tourists, with total
tourism revenue estimated at 260,000 billion VND.
To achieve this goal, the Ho Chi Minh City tourism industry will
synchronously deploy many solutions, focusing on improving the
quality of management and services. Specifically, the Department
of Tourism will complete tourism policies, launch a group of
tourism products from the competition to design a tour program
to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of South
Vietnam, actively communicate, and enhance digital applications.
It is expected that in 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will complete a
tourism application and a 3D tourism map associated with
regional connectivity.
The Ho Chi Minh City tourism industry will also actively work
with Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, through the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade,
the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, the Department of Foreign
Affairs, and the Union of Friendship Organizations to promote Ho
Chi Minh City tourism to the world.
