Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Sai Gon – Arrival (D)
You are welcome by our guide at Tan Son Nhat airport and then be transferred to your hotel in the center of city. Time to visit Ben Thanh market. Having a welcome dinner at a French colony style restaurant and overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 2: Sai Gon – Cu Chi (B/L)
In the morning, we will go to Hoc Mon district to visit Cu Chi tunnel. Back to Sai Gon for lunch. In the afternoon, visit War Museum, Reunification Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 3: Sai Gon – Mekong Delta (B/L)
Heading out of the bustling city, we ride along rice field to My Tho, one of Mekong Delta province. Upon arrival in My Tho, we embark on a boat navigating around the small canals in the delta region, which passing My Tho fruit market. Joining in with daily activities of local people and enjoy the atmosphere of water world along the canal and along the Tien river. The exciting cruise continue to Unicorn island, here you can taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy the local traditional music, performed by the islanders. Having lunch at a typical country garden house. Next stops are the coconut candy “mill” and some other local industries in Ben Tre province. Drive back Sai Gon for overnight.
Day 4: Sai Gon – Nha Trang (B)
After breakfast, take a short flight to Nha trang, a city right on the beach. Check-in hotel and rush to beach for relax or swimming and many more activities. Over night in Nha trang.
Day 5: Nha Trang (B/L)
You will have one day boat trip. Firstly we will go to Mun island, the best site for snorkeling where you will see lots of live colorful corals and fish. This site has been officially protected under the support of Danish Government. Relax, sunbath and swimming at Tam island. Then visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium on Mieu Island. At this place, you will see the life of the many sea species of Nhatrang ocean that being made in a smaller world of this aquarium. Return to Nha Trang about 16.00. Overnight in Nha trang.
Day 6: Nha Trang (B/L)
Enjoy morning on the beach again. After lunch, biking from your hotel to Long Son Pagoda, built in commemoration of the monks and nuns who died whilst fighting the Diem government and Cham Po Nagar temples. Just next to Cham Po Nagar temples is the Thap Ba Hot Spring center. Having fun with Mud bathing and Mineral springs swimming. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 7: Nha Trang – Hoi An (B/L)
You will take a morning flight to Da Nang Airport, then transfer to Hoi an about 35km away. In the afternoon walking visit Hoi An ancient town, the town with mixed the culture of Vietnam/Chinese/Japanese with Chinese tiled houses, Chinese temples, Japanese covered bridge. Over night in Hoi an.
Day 8: Hoi An – My Son – Da Nang – Hue (B/L)
Driver to My son, a World Cultural Heritage. My Son Sanctuary is an ancient religious center of Cham people. Dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years, the Kingdom of Cham now still impressive with brick towers in a valley, 40 km south of Hoi An. After lunch, explore Cham culture at Cham Museum in Da Nang. Then we continue drive to Hue, through Hai Van pass. Taking many photo on the way and at Lang co beach as you like. Arrival Hue afternoon and overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue (B/L)
Cyclo tour to visit Imperial Citadel, another World Cultural Heritage site. Then we will visit Thien Mu pagoda, King Tu Duc tomb, King Minh Mang tomb. Overnight in Hue.
Day 10: Hue- Hanoi (B)
Leaving the Imperial city, you will visit our current, but also thousand years Capital. You will have a half day Hanoi city tour to visit the most attractions of Hanoi: The West Lake with Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple then go to old streets for looking & shopping, learn more about legend of the Hoan Kiem Lake (the lake of the Restored Sword). The tour ends with a traditional cultural Water Puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 11: Hanoi – Halong (B/L/D)
This day, you will visit Halong, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty on the Ocean. Upon arrival at Halong city, you will embark in the sailing boat cruising round the around islets, caves and grottos on Halong bay. While cruising, enjoy your lunch on board. In the afternoon, take a short excursion visit Sung Sot (‘The Cave of Surprise’) grotto and short swim (if weather permitted). Overnight on board.
Day 12: Ha Long bay – Hanoi – Sapa (B/L)
In the morning, cruising more in the Halong Bay before return to the Halong pier. Having lunch in Halong before return back Hanoi. Drive back to Hanoi & take the overnight train to Sapa.
Day 13: Lao Cai – Sapa ( B , L , D )
Arrive at Lao Cai Train station at about 6.30. Vietnam TripAdvisor’s guide pick up and transfer to Sapa. Having breakfast and relax before explore Sapa Town. In the afternoon, take a 2km short trekking to Cat Cat Village, the home of H’mong Ethic. Meeting & talking with locals to learn more about their daily life.
Day 14: Sapa – Lao Cai ( B, L, D)
Pleasant drive to Tafin village (12km from Sapa) of Red Dzao ethic. Touring to the village to visit Tafin handicraft shop and explore the daily life of Red Dzao. Here you have a good choices to buy woven and textile brocades, which is made by ethic people. Visit Tafin Cave and small hamlet of Black H’mong people. Return to Sapa and take a transfer to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi.
Day 15: Hanoi ( B , L )
One more day visit Hanoi with Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature), the first university in Vietnam, Art Museum, Ethnology Museum. Free time for shopping afterward. Over night in Hanoi.
Day 16: Hanoi City – Departure (B)
Free time for shopping or optional visit before transfer to Noi bai airport for departure.
